I have been living in Los Angeles for a few years now, and the thrill is starting to wear off I think. The whole reason I moved h from Indiana was to get out of small town rural America and go someplace thriving and bustling that was near the ocean. Los Angeles just seemed like a logical choice.

And there is certainly no shortage of things to do here. The city of angels has every type of major sports team right here. And if you like music or arts, this is truly a hub. I was really enjoying it when I first got here, but the problems are wearing me thin. Just take a look at traffic here. It is crazy! Fortunately I work out of a home office, so I don’t have to deal with rush hour a couple times every day.

None the less, I have been considering getting out of my apartment here in metropolitan L.A. and maybe getting into one of the new townhomes in Carlsbad. From what I understand, Carlsbad real estate is actually affordable. Plus it is still close enough to L.A. or San Diego that I can just hop on the train if I have a hankering for city life’s amenities.
